I cannot say enough about the flowers that Tricia and Tena did for my daughter's wedding.  The church was a vision of white flowers from the narthax, to the pews, to the front of the church.  I was so overwhelmed when we first went into the church because it was way beyond our expectations.  The wedding director at the church said she has done weddings at Clairmont for over 25 years and has never seen more beautiful flowers. My daughter and I had a meeting with Tricia and Tena several months before the wedding and we all talked through what we wanted.  There were a few phone conversations and emails during the months preceding the wedding but I felt so comfortable leaving it up to the professionals, and they are just that.Look at the pictures and you will see what I am talking about....they used every flower we wanted, roses (so many different whites), tulips, hydrangeas and gardenias.  White has never looked or smelled so beautiful.Thank you so very much.  Words cannot describe the beauty of that church on my daughter's wedding day........Breathtaking!

Skipped winter? So maybe that's why the time has flown by! On top of which, we flower buds have been busy with flower events! - 3 weddings in March,  legislative luncheon, church retreat, teacher appreciation gifts, birthday parties and and memorial arrangements. Below are some photos of Tena and I enjoying our wedding work; it was an honor to a part of each of these bride's special day: (the formal flower shots for all are in our photo gallery)

Cathedral of Saint Phillip, "Vested Glory" Flower Festival

Bravo! to Laura, Victoria and the Cathedral for a wonderful flower festival.  Tricia and I volunteered for the flower festival this year.  We got to spend the week in a beautiful sacred place working with people from churches all over the Atlanta area.  It was incredible to see God's glory through these amazing flower displays.  Each flower guild made an arrangement that was linked to a vestment from their church.  Tricia and I made a floral carpet "Joseph's Coat of Many Colors" on the floor outside the main sanctuary.  We also helped prep flowers for the guest designer's demonstration and took several hands-on workshops.  What a wonderful way to spend a week: church, flowers and friends. Check out the article in the Buckhead Patch Flowers Show Sacred Glory at Cathedral of St. Philip.
